Recording of a workshop on the power of pranayama.

Long before yoga was identified with postures, control of the breath was the main technique of physical practice.

We explore its historical development – from ascetic and Vedic origins to complex tools for transforming the body and dissolving the mind.

The talk lasts one hour, including Q&A, and the recording is also YouTube.

It was originally hosted on Zoom by Yoga Alliance, and was open to anyone.
