A four-week transformative men’s group

With Daniel Simpson and Matthew Green

October 2 - 23, 2022
Live on Sundays (7:00 pm, UK)
Hosted online

Join us to explore what really matters to you, and how to turn that into action.

You might have a sense that there’s more you could offer the world, or feel you need to make changes.

Our supportive community will help you get clearer about what you want and start making it happen.

Find out what’s holding you back and begin to let go of unhelpful patterns. We often try to do this alone, but it’s easier with others.

In this four-week immersion, you’ll discover the power of collective intention, empowering you to find your own way to whatever inspires you.

Combining meditation, self-inquiry and discussion, our group aims to share from the heart and to listen compassionately.

🙋‍♂️ Tune in and commit!

PRACTICALITIES

We meet on Zoom (Oct 2: 7:00 - 9:00 pm; Oct 9, 16 & 23: 7:00 - 8:30 pm).

Some short readings and preparatory questions are shared in advance to spark ideas.

Discussions continue between the live sessions on a dedicated site with additional resources.

In four weeks, we’ll examine our values, our goals, what blocks us and how to transcend it.

To ensure we all have space to contribute, the number of participants is limited to 12.*

In exchange for the above, your investment – along with your presence – is £150.

  • Part of the appeal of a group-based approach is that everyone learns from each other.

  • We facilitate based on what’s been helpful for us and for others – but like life, it’s work in progress…

  • Our general approach is collaborative, taking turns to lead sessions while the other supports.

  • Both of us are active on the online forums, and we’ll be posting lots of helpful resources.

  • We are excited about this community, and look forward to exploring what emerges!

FAQs

Why is this only for men?

  • There aren’t many opportunities for men to come together to share how they feel. We’re offering a space where they can do so respectfully. Free from any pressure to conform to expectations, we can be as we are – accepting one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

What happens in a session?

  • Each week has a theme, so we share readings and questions beforehand to help us prepare. We begin with a short meditation, then take turns to discuss what arises in response. We conclude with some general reflections and look ahead to next time.

WHICH THEMES DO WE COVER?

  • The basic structure is a journey from setting objectives to finding ways forward and navigating obstacles. We offer tools that assist with reflection on your highest aspirations, and encourage you to honour them by making a commitment to seeing them through.

Do I ALWAYS have to speak?

  • Not at all. You’re always welcome to pass, or just jot down ideas. That said, the premise of the group is that it’s helpful to share how we feel, and supportive for others to hear us.

are recordings available?

  • No. It’s important to participate live. We’ve found that transformation happens when we all come together to share authentically. Recording our words can inhibit that process.

HOW MUCH WORK IS INVOLVED?

  • To get the most from the course, we suggest you plan on 90 minutes a week outside live sessions for reading, reflecting on questions, browsing linked materials and sharing ideas.

WHY DO YOU CHARGE £150?

  • We want this work to be sustainable. As freelancers, we’ve balanced our investment (including preparation time) with a price that fairly values what we offer at market rates.

Any other questions?

  • Please contact us here to discuss anything else.

Feedback from others who’ve worked with us:

Inspirational! The whole process reached a depth of intensity I had not expected in a virtual meeting. So wonderful too to co-create an international community.
— Christopher (UK)
Extremely well thought out and presented with insight, humility, and deep knowledge... I do not believe I ever enjoyed a seminar this much, including in person.
— Albert (US)
Thanks for the session last night, I’m feeling so much lighter today. I had lost my sense of humour over the past few days and was walking around in a haze, but today I’m much more myself. Thank you!
— James (UK)
As a teacher myself, I recognise your genuine enthusiasm for the subject and as with all great teachers this is infectious...
— Martin (UK)
I was moved to tears by a mix of gratitude for the ‘recovery’ I couldn’t imagine happening, a real ‘it’s OK’ to my shadow, and joy at all the beauty in the world – including this very special journey that just reared up out of nowhere...
— Andrew (UK)
